The Kidney Wales Foundation appreciates today's recommendation by the Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee to build upon the success of its Donate Wales Tell a Loved One campaign.
But with the number of people needing a transplant in Wales at an all time high it has called for further leadership in organ donation within Wales to address the problem.

A civil servant from London whose brother works at the University Hospital for Wales in Cardiff is walking from Lands End to John O'Groats to raise money for the Kidney Wales Foundation.

DESIGNERS TO ROYALTY AND THE STARS AT CARDIFF CHARITY FASHION SHOW
Two of the biggest names in world fashion will take centre stage at a charity fashion show in Cardiff Bay on April 22. Designers to royalty and the stars Stewart Parvin and Philip Somerville will showcase their latest collection of couture dresses and hats worth more than 120,000 at the St. David's Hotel and Spa to help raise money for the Kidney Wales Foundation.

following in the footsteps of Sian Lloyd and Jonah Lomu. The former 110m hurdle world champion met patients at Cardiff's
Children's Kidney Unit as part of a special launch for this year's fundraising
event, which is organised by the Kidney Wales Foundation.
